↵aCagA expression was analyzed by immunoblotting, and relative levels of expression were quantified by comparing the CagA signal intensity of each strain with that of a standard (CagA from H. pylori strain 5001). For each strain, the CagA signal was calculated for 3 independent biological samples, and the average of these values is presented. Values represent mean ± SEM.
