CEBP February 2016
In recognition of CEBP’s Editor-in-Chief who served from 1997-2002, the CEBP Frederick P. Li Impact Award is awarded to the first author of an article published in the Journal that has had a major impact on the fields represented by the Journal’s content areas, with the awardee’s co-authors named as co-recipients in recognition of the importance of team science.
Criteria:
A committee of three scientists named by the CEBP Editor-in-Chief selects the Award winner each year based on the committee’s evaluation of the following criteria: originality; scientific, clinical, and/or public health impact; and overall significance as measured by citations and other publication metrics over a five-year period prior to Award consideration. Papers that have raised awareness of an important cancer-related issue, launched a new direction of research, or inspired novel translational activities are of significant interest.
The Award:
The award winner (or their designated representative) will receive the Award at the AACR Annual Meeting. While funding will not be provided to attend the Annual Meeting, a $1000 cash prize and a certificate will be given to the Award winner.
